What do others do with sellers who repeatedly ask for a positive review even before an item has been posted or received?
I resent such harassment and it makes me want to give a negative review.
Also, I have been brutally attacked by a seller for giving a negative review after they cancelled my order without notification, no reason. They said they gave a refund, which they did, but it didn't fix the problem of me waiting for an item that was never going to arrive.
They made a negative review of me as a buyer, which I don't care as I have many positive reviews, and never a negative. He called me many names including, fraud, liar, scammer. Ridiculous.
I made an additional comment to my original review stating what he did. I also reported him to ebay for breach of policy.
I've had some scary experiences from sellers. Truly aggressive and abusive. I report them. Some have been removed as sellers.
Usually the sellers are offshore and maybe this is acceptable in their country.
I try never to buy offshore but they hide behind local distribution centres.
So if we want items only from local companies, it shows as local, when actually it's usually from China.
Most frustrating.

You need to let Ebay know about that fb, they will remove it. Unacceptable. And that seller will receive a defect for that.

Sellers constantly asking for positive review
Brings to mind the seller who awoke to: "Here's the feedback you've been pestering me for" and a big red donut. 🙊

Thanks. I do. I do not let them get away with bad behaviour.

Constantly ignore.

In the future I encourage you to review the seller's feedback ratings before making any purchase. Click on the number to the right of their eBay id. Look at where the row that says "Negative" lines up with the column "12 months". Click on the number there and it will show you all the negative feedback they received in the past year.
Then look at the "Delivery" section on the main auction page to see when the "Estimated" date of delivery is.
Oftentimes by reviewing these two things you can weed out sellers who have had problems in the past. Personally, when bidding on an item I always review these two things first, and I have found that it has significantly reduced any problems that may arise. A little research ahead of time will save you a lot of headaches later when the transaction doesn't turn out the way you wanted.
Unfortunately, since you have left many negative and neutral feedback for sellers you may now be scaring off the trustworthy sellers as well.
It is possible a seller reviewed your feedback left, got nervous, and cancelled the sale not realizing the negative impact on their account. This is just a guess though as I don't have enough details.
Also, a number of the feedback you have left for sellers are in violation of the eBay policy.
Hopefully you take my advice in the first two paragraphs and have better luck in the future.

Well you could leave a neutral "Here's the FB you badgered my about. Item was fine. Shipping acceptable. "
The positive remarks about the product should not hurt the seller. The neutral warns both seller and future buyers about the behaviour.
And a neutral does not affect the seller's rating in any way.
But you are better to ignore the seller.
Block him on your Blocked Buyers List (even though he is a seller, apparently this works both ways) and be sure to make it a No Communication block.
Block him on your personal email where you get notified by eBay.
And when you see his name, don't open it, just delete it.
Best wishes.

Good suggestions.
Have you reviewed my reviews?
I always tell the truth.
I feel that an honest review helps others.
There are truly some nasty sellers out there.

Yes, I read all of them.

Honesty is the best policy.

Yes, they do. However, if your feedback violates policy, it may be removed so nobody will be able to see your honest reviews.
We remove neutral/negative feedback when we can see that:
Order cancellation policy | eBay
""A buyer can request to cancel an order if:
When a buyer submits a request to cancel their order, the seller can choose to accept or decline the buyer's request.
The seller is under no obligation to accept your cancellation request. If you leave negative feedback for this, it is in violation of the feedback policy and can be removed.
We remove all feedback that contains any:
If you give a positive rating, but your comments are negative this is in violation of feedback policy. In this case eBay can remove your negative comments and keep the positive rating.

Yes, there are. That is why I encourage you to vet your sellers before making a purchase. Other buyers' honest reviews will help you choose a reputable seller. Hopefully this will result in fewer problems for you in the future.
It is also important to leave positive feedback when the transaction went well. This will help others as well. It will help the good sellers build or maintain their reputation and it will help other potential buyers find reputable sellers.
