I rec'd a Fedex delivery email for a $50 power supply I was waiting for, it was not at my house.
And the address in the email was wrong but, was in my zip code.
I did go over to the address which was a used car dealer about a mile away, that rec'd a car title in a Fedex letter.
Somehow the seller sends a hijacked Fedex tracking number for your same zip code, so it shows it was delivered, to your zip code, it doesn't show a address on Ebay.
I have called 6 Ebay numbers but it just goes in circles until they send a useless link or text, it will never connect you to a actual person.
Seller has 600+ items for sale around $50, AND when I looked at their negative feedback 6 months ago they were sending hijacked Fedex tracking numbers.
What is a actual Fraud reporting phone number?
Also a lot of the lowest power supplies were from Sri Lanka sellers, or on vacation for a couple weeks.
I ended up buying the same PS off of and shipped by Amazon for $10 less.

Was that FedEx delivery email sent because you have a FedEx account, and you set an alert on that tracking number so that it showed you someone else's address for the delivery?
Otherwise, wouldn't giving us another person's address be a violation of privacy?
@mercedestopseals*com wrote:Seller sends fake Fedex tracking number
Also, if the FedEx tracking number is indeed fake, wouldn't it say "invalid" on the website with no tracking whatsoever because only a real FedEx number can be tracked?
And did you end up paying $90 for that $40 power supply from Amazon, or are you getting the $50 back?

I had a alert on the tr#.
The seller sent a valid Fedex tr# for a 3rd party at a different address in my zip code.
It appears like this is a becoming common scam on Ebay.
Next week when you can leave negative feedback on the seller acct I'll wager there will be a lot of **bleep** off people.

WOW, I read the positive feedback, most are saying Fedex sent to the wrong address but everything is OK.
Obviously fake feedback from their own accounts.

Here's some of the Positive Feedback and almost all have problems with Fedex deliveries- - Just as described. sturdy, good quality, just as I was expecting. Good seller. This is NOT the sellers fault but problem with Fedex delivering to wrong address and even got email conformation that verified was indeed delivered to wrong address? However before end of the day it did appear 4 hours after the conformation had noted. The label address was correct! I would use this seller again 🙂 -
-There was a shipping issue (from FEDEX). This seller was all over it and got the problem resolved as soon as possible. I felt the seller was really concerned and appreciate the effort he put in to get everything straightened out. -
- Nice hi Quality The first one was lost in transit and FED ex was not very helpful, but when i reached out to the seller he went one out asap. Great Customer Service very happy
- Started out mix up. Shipper said they sent it FedEx and was delivered on 12/16/2020 never git it. Talk to FedEx no help. Contact seller they were GREAT they found that UPS had the package and not FedEx who said it was delivered it. To make a long story short I got it Thanks to the Seller. Thank You Again

Here's Negative Feedback-
-First I placed the order and then it's set and set and didn't ship sent the seller a message finally shipped it sent me a tracking number it was a FedEx tracking number the day of delivery it said it was delivered by FedEx and I never got the package. Come to find out the seller screwed it up and sent it UPS and sent the wrong tracking information. Contact at the seller in very slow responses kind of like blowing me off won't deal with this guy again!
-This Seller took my money, highjacked a random FedEx Tracking Number, and never did send the item. Beware this Seller, as he/she/they/them is/are SCAM Artist(s)!!! Dispute has been filed but remains unresolved. Seller also messaged my phone in the middle of the night, circumventing eBay's protocol. NOT a pleasant experience.
-I would like to know the address that you sent my universal console to, as Fed Ex is showing that they delivered it and I haven't received it. The tracking # is 728126544902 and the picture that they show, where it was delivered to, is not my porch. They also don't recognize my address and won't deal with it, they say it's up to me to contact the shipper. Please advise, Richard A-------- Napa Ca. 94558
-DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER. I never received my item ! I tracked it to a town 30 miles from me- not my address! The seller tells me the item was delivered. Well, yes- but not to me! The seller tells me to check my house and my neighbor’s houses. How about you take responsibility for your mistake? Now I’m out 50 bucks! You have been warned!!!!
-Seller gave wrong tracking number for FedEx and showed this was delivered. Not the case. Still waiting for Seller to respond. Have three messages in and one with documented proof from FedEx.
-I NEVER received this item !
-Never Arrived

It helps if you click on the (@) and select the username of person you are responding to, so they know you have replied.
"Somehow the seller sends a hijacked Fedex tracking number for your same zip code, so it shows it was delivered, to your zip code, it doesn't show a address on Ebay. It is not a hijacked number the Order details address was changed on the label by the seller, usually to a business in a buyer's zip code so that it get a delivered scan. eBay cannot access any more than the general tracking info because of FedEx's privacy policies, they are not allowed to access the label address or package information because ebay is neither the sender or recipient.
"I have called 6 Ebay numbers but it just goes in circles until they send a useless link or text, it will never connect you to a actual person".
You do not need to call ebay about this issue. Any number you find online for ebay's customer service is a fake one, and they may even be scammers trying to get your account information
The only way to speak to an ebay rep is to use the Contact us button at the bottom of most ebay pages, fill out some info and request a call back. Which in this case will probably not work for you, because most of them work for a 3rd party call center, and this issue is not described in their playbook.
"The tracking # is 728126544902 and the picture that they show, where it was delivered to, is not my porch".
What you need to do is first go to your purchase history click on the More Actions button then select I didn't receive it. When you do that a dispute will appear just above your purchase history. within a couple of days there will be a message in the dispute, saying tracking shows delivery closing the dispute, which was decided by a computer. However in the message is an Appeal button.
Because you have a FedEx account or use their Delivery Manager service, and have info with a photo of the delivery location. Take a screen shot of the whole page. When you appeal tell the rep what happened, add the screen shot of the FedEx page with the photo. If you can save the photo itself, to a file you can add that too. Then to look at the address in your order details, and to do a google map street view search of your address which will show the one in your info doesn't match your building or home.
You will win the appeal and get a refund, but you will not be able to leave a negative or neutral feedback though, because you lost the initial dispute.
FYI, the feedback comments you posted were left by people who did not file disputes, so they were allowed to stay.
