A seller is out of control and eBay has done nothing to control his vitriol. If a negative review is posted he will be a complete bully and spread misinformation. eBay does nothing.

No problems except mine and the other people who receive inappropriate comments with negative reviews.

Sellers are not allowed to leave negative feedback, and will get Defects for leaving positive feedback with negative wording.
Buyers are allowed to leave positive, neutral or negative feedback.
EBay does not use FB to assess member accounts.
Sellers rarely see buyer feedback until a transaction has begun because over 85% of transactions are Fixed Price or automatic acceptance of Best Offers.
The only ones who will see those offensive words are the seller's future customers.
And when they see so many negative and neutral FB, they will think about whether or not to purchase.
If they open the FB and read the seller's responses, they are very likely to backbutton out of there because the seller is an.... umm let's say not an asset to the eBay community.
Meanwhile, your good name is not shown on their FB profile.
You remain anonymous.

BTW.
Was there a problem that is covered under the Money Back Guarantee?
Was the delivery late?
The seller has to prove delivery or refund.
Was the item Not As Described?
The seller must refund on return.
Even if the seller has a No Returns policy, they must refund the unhappy customer.
But.
The buyer must open a Claim for eBay to enforce the MBG.

The seller promised same day local pickup but after buying responded that he would not be available that day. He was slow to refund and eBay had to step in.

It's OK for you to write what you did, without explaining what issue(s) you had. But it is not OK for the seller to respond in kind? What does "Worst Seller" tell future buyers about what issues they might have with them?
As a seller yourself you should know that replies to a received feedback are allowed to stand, though your name might be edited out. You should also know that as a buyer you get to reply to their reply and get the last word in.
Reporting the comment should get your username removed, but it might also cause a rep to look at your other feedback left, and see what you have written about ebay.

The seller promised no such thing. They do offer local pickup but arrangements have to be made when it will be convenient for both parties to meet.
What you probably saw was this:

If you all only knew what other threats he made against me. Also if you all could see the responses of others who wrote him a negative review. But you spout knowledge.

If you all only knew what other threats he made against me.
I've been having problems with telepathy since I turned 75.
Senior moments.
Show us the threats.
Better.
Show the local police the threats and let them take action or at least put it on record.
Also if you all could see the responses of others who wrote him a negative review.
We can.
Just as you can.

Not sure what you are talking about, the seller is the only person that can actually be harmed by the feedback system. They need to go back to where both the buyer and the seller could leave each kind of feedback. Thre are far more bad buyers than their are bad sellers. The Bad sellers get taken care of because of the negative feedback and eBay siding with the buyer 95% of the time, but bad buyers never get taken care of anymore. Occasionally, they might lose on their scams, but they come out on top, usually because eBay gives the seller their money and the buyer their money, when both appear to have done everything they need to do.

I don't care if you has 100 bad feedbacks or what he did, your feedback was childish.
