Seller Negative Feedback

I've noticed when contemplating buying from a seller with for example 98.90% feedback when I try to view their negative feedback I'm informed there's none, but after I've purchased from them suddenly I'm able to read all the negative feedback, 🤔 anyone else experiencing this?

Are you you looking at their full feedback profile or just at the last 12 months? Or are the new negs you're seeing very recent? Like all received since you made a purchase?

If you're using an eBay App on the iPhone it will differ than on a computer. Ebay app on the phone doesn't show everything.  And its best to pick a seller with at least 99.9 % feedback.

99.9%? That's a pretty strict rule to go by ... I'm fine going a bit lower, especially considering 1 neg could drop you below 99.9 if you dont have enough (+)s. There are fairly active sellers w/ 1 neg that have 99.7% .... I recently got bumped down to 99.8% due to a 2nd neg, before I got it removed and bumped back to 99.9%

Since you are located in the U.K. not being able to view a feedback profile page may be a glitch with ebay's U.K. site (ebay.co.uk)  Here in the U.S. we have not seen any reports of not being able to access profile pages on the U.S. site's (ebay.com) community.  Use the link below to post your issue on your home site's community. 

I do not use ebay's app but if you are using it,  If you scroll to near the bottom of a listing where a seller's username should be posted in a large font followed by a few feedback comments then an oval with See all feedback in it.  Clicking on that button should take you to a seller's profile page.  If it is not there that may be one of the differences between what is posted on the app as opposed to what info is posted on the full site. You can always use your device's browser to login the classic way to view the full site info.

If you’re using a phone - as I do- you are going to find some functions missing, and others not working normally.  Reading feedback profiles in particular are one of those normally abnormal functions.😉
