Sometime in the last 6 months, eBay's search algorithm changed and now I'm getting a ton of unrelated crap in my search results. It's making finding what I need a Lot harder. For instance if I enter "Milwaukee 2736" I expect to see Milwaukee 2736 in my results. Which is a specific power tool. I used to only see these which was what i wanted. Now I see other milwaukee tools, toys with milwaukee in the name and other things.
eBay. . .leave search alone, it worked great. Stop trying to "help" me find what i want unless I ask for it.

You'd probably get better results if you articulate what Milwaukee 2736 is.........what kind of power tool....

Lots want to look at what Ford Bronco's are out there for sale.
They really haven't decided on the 1968 Two Tone Blue and White V-8 Automatic Tan Vinyl Interior Ford Bronco

Hi @bjepson42
I’ve got the same complaint with searches on every selling venue I use.
It seems that companies have decided that the more items they show us … the more likely we are to buy something. It IS exasperating. ☹️

But that's the deal, it *used* to work. I didn't have to jump through a lot of hoops. Milwaukee 2736 is as specific as you can get. There is only one Milwaukee power tool with the model number 2736. It shouldn't return Milwaukee 1754 and Milwaukee Brewers memorabilia unless there is "2736" in the keywords.

In addition, ebay already filters out stuff that it deems "not useful". Most of which is more useful than the additions they leave in. Like there might be parts for a Milwaukee 2125. Useful!! Rotary Brand inner tube with no mention of 2125 or Milwaukee? Not useful. Disney Mouse Booklet #2125. . .closer but still no mention of Milwaukee. Not Useful!

In eBay motors, once item specifics were added, some sellers use the same item specific in EVERY listing. Looking for Dodge Brothers part, 1914-1938. I have my item per page set at 240 items/listing. I did a count of actual DB parts on one page, it was something like 75 items that were DB parts or could be used on them. The rest was everything under the sun and not even related to my search. And yes, I tried some of the tricks suggested over the years and it did not work. Because of the interchange range of parts that could be used, going by year does not work.
The search engines have not worked for a long time anyway.
