Obviously there have been some unexplained changes to "Save this Search." I frequently used to save searches for newly listed items from preferred sellers, but I can no longer find the button to do so. I am able to save a general search of all items, but NOT just a specific seller any more. So what I am left with is useless. Anyone have a work around for this? or is it another great feature we've lost. Any help would be appreciated.

Click ADVANCED next to the eBay search bar…next click Seller on the left hand side…next scroll to fine SELLER place the sellers ID in the appropriate Box.

That will allow the OP to view the items for sale by a particular seller, but there is no link to save the search as a Saved Search or to generate emails when new items are listed.
There is a link to save the seller to the Saved Seller list, and it may be possible to get updates that way.
Or, as a workaround, the OP could change the advanced search to display items listed by a seller in the last 24 hours or so, and then bookmark the search and check it once per day.

Okay so here's the answer - you can't save seller searches any longer. That's all there is to it. eBay took the functionality away because they are copying everything Amazon is doing trying to be like Amazon.
Saving a search from a seller's eBay page does not work because you never get eMail notifications so anyone recommending that has never actually used eBay and are just yapping uselessly into dead air.
If you still have old saved searches made before this change, they will keep notifying you.
The old URL is shown below that works for me (replace "username here" with your seller name of choice) and still notifies me by eMail but you can no longer add a new search. I can presume with the "svsrch" function 1 means yes and 0 means no.
Furthermore, I have found that GMail does not like eBay notification eMail and they will just never reach your inbox. Not in spam, not in the inbox, nowhere, they just flat out never get delivered and are rejected midway.
eBay has tons of problems that they ignore willingly and they need to revert the website hack to the 2012 code and stop trying to mimic Amazon to make their floundering site better, because they are just running it right down the drain.
