Rog 2021 duo screen laptop for $1000? Is it scam???

I saw a listing from Ireland that sales a 2021 rog duo 15 laptop for $1000 and in description it says it is used but for photo taking only. It was late night so I didn’t even think about is it a scam or not. And I realize it might be a scam the next day. I was trying to cancel the order but the buyer refused and said he ship it out in few days which makes me nervous about if it is a scam.the seller who selling the laptop to me and it shows he is a brand new seller on eBay from his profile. I mean I know there’s always a point that someone is new but at this point which makes me much more nervous about the package. 

 

I told him that I will video recording the unpacking when I receive it and he didn’t reply back after that. What I worry about now is either he will really ship the laptop out or not, or will he ship a laptop that used for mining because I heard some news about the mined laptop will constantly have some technical problems. Will I get my refund back safely if anything happened? Someone who knows eBay please help!!! I will really appreciate for your comments! Thank you!!!!!

If you were told this by regular CS, its not going to happen. As others have said, this item is NOT covered at all under the MBG because of the category it was listed under.... You need to contact eBay on Facebook via message.

Also I contacted them through Facebook also and they told me they can’t really do anything now either and need me wait for the scammer to do any action

Yes.

You can do it online as a dispute with your banking. Very easy.

Pay Pal is not a part of EBay other than taking money in.

what it should be is a popup with very large lettering saying it is not covered: not that small print saying so.

I previously went into my banking online debit card  and I made a dispute with a purchase. Got my money back in two weeks. 

I tried for a refund with same purchase on EBay and after 4 months with no solution.

That’s what I going to do if the scammer has any action to counter the case. Because I am still in college and Im having finals this week.

I found the listing.  It was fraudulent from the start.  eBay is slower at removing some of these, even if reported if there is a chance the ID was hijacked.  Most that fit the "profile" are not.  eBay should remove them before they become SOLD as in your case.  

eBay has to manually allow an INR claim.  Come back if, as suggested, your scam turns into one that involves "fake tracking" as well  Good luck to you!

wanna update to you guys, I made a dispute with the payment through online banking yesterday and got my money back today already. Thanks to @12345jamesstamps for the helpful advice.
