Hi
Hi, I’m looking for some advice - I’m hoping to tap into the experience of international sellers.
Shipping to usa from europe ,then buyer wants to return the item back to the seller (europe)
will the seller have to pay import duties for returned items?if someone has experience any help will be appreciated

Depending on the seller's country they could be charged customs fees on the return. They cannot purchase the return shipping label from their country, you would have to get a return shipping cost from the agency that delivered the item to send it back with tracking, then send it to the seller who should send you the funds to pay for the return. Since the label you get may not have a return option on the customs declaration form, to be marked as a return, the seller will likely be faced with customs fees.
However, their country probably has an option in place for the seller to show the item was not a purchase but a return, and they would receive a refund for the customs fee.
What is your reason for the return?
