New purchase history does not show tracking number

I bought ALOT on eBay and I always keep track of all items from many different sellers based on tracking numbers. However, eBay removes the tracking nubmers from purchase history and I am unable or very difficult or time consuming to keep track of what seller. The reason is any seller rarely include a packing slip with the order so I don't know who sell me what, item ID is not available in the package. Tracking number IS VERY CRITICAL for me to keep track because tracking number is printed on the box for all packages. And, they are all different for each seller. 

Ebay, please add tracking number on the purchase history page.

I can't tell from your post whether you're referring to the USPS tracking number assigned when the package label is printed, or whether you're referring to the item number assigned to each listing when it's created by the seller.

Either way, both numbers show up in my Purchase History. The item id is in a grid next to the price of the item:

The tracking number is in the "I'd like to . . . " drop-down menu to the far right of the item. The last selection is "Track Shipment." If the seller has uploaded a tracking number, that's where it will be.

eBay should show the tracking number that is searchable on the page, not from clicking link (not searchable). I bought many same units from many different sellers. I cannot click all the link to identify which package from which seller. I must search the tracking number on the box in order to know who send me the item. 

Showing tracking number on purchase history is very important to buyer who buy many items.

Since that feature is no longer available, perhaps you can find another way to identify your purchases.

yeah. the new purchase history is just terrible. it does not even show order date and tracking number on the page without taking additional step (two more clicks that's just  painful for small business owner like me who buy a lot of items daily)

Perhaps ebay should not downgrade.

it seems like change just for the sake of change. I don't see how this benefits anyone. I find that many of the recent changes are just making buying more cumbersome. There are so many "glitches" that could be worked on, I don't see why they keep changing the things that were working fine. I now don't get eBay bucks for some reason, and listing don't show how many eBay bucks would be earned if I purchase an item. Work on that.
