Negative feedback I left removed.

I have left negative feedback a month ago, the seller was awful, it was a 6.95 item and it was faulty and I filled in the return page. The seller asked me for a video on what's app Iam not the most

technical and don't have what's app, so my wife tried to send it on hers it was very confusing  to do and sent it eventually with my sons help.

The video wasn't the best but it showed the fault and the seller said, "I can't see its dark I'll decide what to do later" .

His emails had been very intimidating

and now realise I shouldn't even had entertained the idea of sending a video

so I left bad feedback. Now a month on the feedback as been removed without my consent. I feel if this is the way ebay are going what's the point.

don't know if you returned the item or opened a return case, but here is the info>

https://www.ebay.com/help/buying/returns-refunds/return-item-refund?id=4041&st=2&pos=2&query=Return%...

For future, buyers are not required to send videos or photos if you are following the above links instructions.

Depending on what you said on the feedback, it may be removable.

When you receive a faulty item, and your seller is not cooperative, what you need to do is go to the Resolution Center at the bottom of any eBay page and open an ITEM NOT AS DESCRIBED CASE.

Please read the Money Back Guarantee for buyers so that you'll be able to successfully handle the problem if/when a transaction goes wrong.

BTW, the seller cannot require a video or photo or any further proof that an item is not as described.  If/when a buyer opens a case, the seller is required to provide a prepaid return shipping label and to refund when the faulty item arrived back to him.

We cannot see the FB you left, so it's hard to comment on the reason it was removed.

Negative feedback I left removed.

in the future you can just skip messaging the seller if you want to

you are not required to furnish pictures video or proof

what you can do is use your MBG rights and file an item not as described.

sellers really cant ignore those...you can get tough over a $7 item if you have to do it

there is not much a seller can do if you play hardball with the MBG

ebay gave the buyers the MBG to use..........its your right to use it

keep on ebayin

I've had 2 negatives removed by ebay, so I'm only leaving only positives now. We should make all sellers have 100% ratings like buyers do since it's become meaningless.. Instead, ebay can tell us about the secretive actions they're taking. That's supposed to satisfy us now.

I don't really agree...

If a seller is particularly rude AND sends a faulty/deceptive item I think they well-earned their negative. It should just be written factually and descriptively without any emotion is all.

One example I have:

A seller was selling replacements screens for a video game system. They were listed as "BRAND NEW". Well when I received it, not only was it not brand new, but it was bent, damaged, broken. And the damage was NOT from shipping. Package was totally fine. It was very obvious to anyone looking at it that not only was it a used item but broken as well, clearly the OPPOSITE of "brand new".

I wrote the seller expressing my discontent (in an appropriate manner, no threats or bad language) that they were selling items that were damaged/used and claiming them to be "BRAND NEW".

They just completely ignored my mail so I then opened a case. Only then did they respond that they'd gladly refund me but would also be blocking me from buying from them. (Which quite frankly I am fine with, I 'd never want to buy again from a seller doing something that shady). And mind you they'd sold dozens of these things this way! Maybe the others were not damaged, but clearly they were not new either. I guess as long as they 'worked' the other buyers didn't care.

Neg totally earned.
