My tracking number from an order got completely changed to a wrong one.

I bought something a while ago and it had a specific tracking number, now it shows a new one which is linked to a completely wrong zipcode/city. The shipping carrier is SPEEDPAK from China, I checked there on their website with my old tracking number and it shows the correct city and zipcode, is the new one a distrubition center or something? but it's not the capital of my country where most packages would normally go to I'm extremely confused

The tracking number would change when it enters another country from China. Thats typically what happens with pkgs that enter the U.S. from China. Im sure you can look up in your own country, Greece, if it is being sent to a distribution center there.This is the U.S. board.

Items my wife purchases from China (including Hong Kong) tend to go through a number of carriers before reaching her.  I suspect the same is happening with your item.

I tend to be more concerned about receiving my items by the last estimated delivery date in the condition stated in the listing.  What happens between the shipping location and my doorstep is largely irrelevant.

If you really need to keep close tabs on where your item was last scanned, the Parcelsapp website generally does a very good job of providing information on shipments involving multiple carriers.

Yes thank you first it was speedpak, then postnl netherlands where it showed a new shipping number for the first time but…

The first Chinese shipping number which I input in the speedpak website showed my correct city and zipcode, now on my order’s page all previous progress has been completely erased and got replaced with a new chinese speedpak shipping number which if I input in their website shows a completely wrong zipcode and city. It’s like I bought a brand new package it even started with tracking number provided etc, it really completely erased weeks of progress completely everything is just gone

Have you tried looking up both tracking numbers on the Parcelsapp website, @poochi1987?  I’m not sure what website you used.

marnotom! yes, checked both in the website you mentioned, the new one is just completely wrong zipcode and address, the new area it shows really isn't any sort of distribution center. Honestly it's as if I ordered a brand new package but to a new address.

I'm so confused it even says it was shipped yesterday,  when it was shipped on June 2nd actually. Did the seller update my tracking number by mistake?

Now my original one says it's in the distribution center of my capital... okay I'm just confused why they gave me a brand new tracking number which isn't mine.

why dont you ask your distribution center about that?

If the last estimated date of delivery hasn’t gone by yet, I suggest you just stop checking the tracking.  It’s just raising your blood pressure unnecessarily.  If your item arrives, it arrives.  If it doesn’t arrive, it doesn’t.

Tracking a package from there to here like this is really bad for your mental health.

What's important is on what day will my package be officially late?

I found the answer, the seller said someone else with a similar ID as mine ordered something in a new address and he accidentally gave new tracking number to me, mine is in okay transit.
