Item paid for no shipping information, no response to contacting seller

I am going to be as respectful as possible. Even though on my social media accounts (I am known) I am not so respectful. 

Ok, so I bought this (vintage microphone) now as you read what I write take into account this is something that you can't buy anywhere ok. This piece is unique and doesn't exist. I have tried to research this piece and I can't find anything on it. I like old microphones, I think they bring style and class. The new ones are just so plain. The builders of yesteryear definitely had taste. 

My nightmare: 

Been looking for something like this for my new radio show and I was so excited to get it and begin. I won the auction of which no one else was bidding, so I guess it's not really a win lol. Like Bill De Blasio, becomes mayor with no real challengers. I am a political comedian so. How this man becomes mayor twice. I bet they would reelect him again if he could run. Sorry. Oh that's nice, gun shots in the background while I type. You really can't relate to the stories of LA until you live it yourself. Ok, so I pay for it as immediately. I have been on Ebay for over 15 years, I have an impeccable reputation. In selling and buying. Every time I bought something I received a message a day later, this time nothing. I sent an email 5 days after buying it, nothing. sent another email 5 days later, nothing, I bought the piece on Nov 11th 2021 and to the day no response from the seller. I don't know maybe they are dead in their house from COVID sorry could happen. Don't wish it... I don't even know them. But SOMETHING happened. Keep in mind also, this piece was place for auction several times and not bided on. The seller selling 4 pieces received resounding feedback from their buyers. I always pay attention to this when buying, the same way I always vet who I will elect into office. The seller indicated I would receive the item (this is on the auction) not directly to me, by they 23rd of Nov. From Nov 18th to 23rd. So no shipping information, no acknowledgment of emails sent, so can anyone provide some advise? I personally find it extremely rude (if there is no issues) death, sickness, inability to ship, hey **bleep** happens, I am 55 years old I know **bleep**. But if they are just ignoring me, then that is rude. Like your teenager leaving you on scene when you text them, you want ring their necks! lol. 

Has anyone else received a package from nowhere? No shipping information, no response to messages? Is that normal? Because in my time on ebay that has never happened to me. Always a message of shipping, and always responses to my inquiries. 

Love to hear your responses, and to those that are going to blast me for making the story interesting? Get a life! No one forced you to read this...

Sellers are not required to provide a tracking number, mark the item as shipped or respond to messages.

If you don't receive it by the last estimated delivery date, file an INR the next day.

They should be... you may feel differently I don't, and one day when I get my comedy show before 100M plus fans I am going to make it known. Ebay is a landlord, EVERYTHING for them and NOTHING for the tenant! I am a CONSUMER to defraud me is to defraud the US FEDERAL GOVT. Well it used to be... 2022 and 2024 around the corner. It is evident you didn't read my whole post. This item is a specialty item. I can't buy it anywhere else. Now you may feel is perfectly ok to ignore people (you like being ignored)? honestly? If God himself where to ask you that question " Do you like to write to people and be ignored " tell me the truth as you would tell him. Don't bother it's rhetorical (no one likes to be ignored) no writes to have no answer. But it's ok for everyone to do it everyone else. The media ignores the world perfectly fine, you do it to them, they hate it. Huge hypocrites. Me? I treat people the same way I would expect to be treated. Ecclesiastes 10-8 

Ebay needs to be held accountable and me? I am going to make sure that happens! Not today, not tomorrow, but very soon. You REMEMBER the name Nio Phoenix when you see me on stage you can tell people " I spoke to him " he wrote me. † You have a wonderful TG as well...

Also so SELLERS are not required to do a **bleep** thing right? But the BUYER is REQUIRED to Pay the money immediately after auction or LOSE their account right? Rules for me not for thee. 

Hey, if there was a MASSIVE boycott against ebay to start creating some **bleep** laws around here, what you think would happen then? You think the seller would be REQUIRED to response to questions, provide shipping information? huh??? I think so...

Maybe this will sink in if you get over yourself and pay attention. It's already been said.

Most sellers answer messages but it's not a requirement.

Most sellers ship using eBay labels where a tracking number is uploaded and you know when it's been shipped. Again, it's not a requirement to use eBay labels or upload a tracking number. Your item has an expected delivery date. If it's not received when it's expected open a not received dispute.

When did the seller last receive feedback for selling. If it was over a year ago then they probably ran into ebay's payment hold, placed on new or returning sellers first few sales. Many new/returning sellers do not know about the hold or how to deal with it to get their funds released sooner.  This happens often with sellers who have been buying and have verified accounts, but haven't sold before or in over a year. I suggest that you go back and check the seller's feedback profile As a seller, more closely.

If the seller has run into the hold, their payment status is marked as Pending, and that may be why they are not replying. They may think you are a scammer trying to trick them out of their item.

In online retail, buyers are REQUIRED to pay first, before they can expect any communication from a seller.  As for non payers losing their accounts on ebay, That's a laugh. They may be blocked by sellers who have a buyer requirement set up that automatically blocks non-payers from bidding on or buying their items.  However, ebay rarely bans them.

Maybe you should try searching a little harder.  Depending on how vintage of a mic you want you could start with "Vintage ribbon microphone".  There are 153 listed.  Using the left hand column search filters, you can specify RCA, Turner, Shure, Western Electric, GE, and other Mfrs. in your searches.   I'm partial to the RCA 44 and 77 series myself.

 This is why eBay runs like this because you people seem to think it's perfectly ok... Unbelievable... I am being fought and called names because I want what I paid for. I am the freak because I want my thing.

eBay has no legal way to force a buyer to pay.  Nor can it force a seller to ship an item that’s been paid for.

All eBay can do is penalize buyers and sellers who don’t follow the rules.  

You are guaranteed a full refund if you file an ‘item not received’ dispute after the ‘estimated delivery date’ has passed.  [The seller will be penalized in several ways.]

Constitutions would need to be changed for eBay to be able to confiscate the mic from the seller … and hand it over to you.  I’m sorry … but that’s the law.

I don't think it's ok to ignore people, especially buyers.

But, since it's not a requirement here to respond to buyers messages, some sellers don't do it.

It doesn't matter what kind of item it is, we all go by the same rules.

Most sellers will respond to messages and provide tracking numbers, then you get a few that don't.

Ebay is simple. 

It is a platform to put buyers and sellers together. No one needs a license or a class in customer service. Like anyone selling at a Garage Sale, if the seller wants to ignore you- they can. 

Ebay protects buyers with the 30 day MBG. If item not there by last estimated delivery date, you can open a case for  refund as 'item not received'.

This is the system and it works if you follow it.

If your seller hasn't 'dropped the mic' on you by one day past the Estimated Delivery Date on the order, you can open an Item Not Received claim. You'll be made whole again.

Besides reading the eBay Money Back Guarantee, you might want to read Luke 6:31 and clear up all your confusion.

And the seller has until Nov. 23 to deliver what you paid for, so there's really no need to get your panties in a wad.

A few years back I purchased a $1000+ doll here. The seller, who had great feedback, never sent tracking. I didn't whine or moan or gnash my teeth or post here with a long-winded, I-thought-it-was-funny-but-it-really-wasn't rant. I simply waited for my package, knowing that if it didn't come eBay had me covered. The package arrived on the estimated due date, I loved the doll (still do), I left positive feedback and moved on. 

You can't control other people's actions, any more than you can force people to laugh. I'm suspecting you have some experience with the latter.

I can see the frustration caused by the lack of communication from the seller.  The eBay platform is pretty amazing.  Plenty of charts, graphs, research data, reports, and on and on and on.  Still, the most important aspect of my eBay account are my buyers. Without them I am just a collector of items for which I have no other use.  For that reason, I hope that there will never be a reason that I wouldn't communicate with them as much as they need. (barring the obvious death or incapacitation  rule lol)  Then again, 3 sales would be a huge week for me so I have time to do that.  Then again, if I were to get busier than that, I would hire help if required.
