I want a REFUND but I didn't pay using PAYPAL

They already agreed to cancel the order and to refund me but I am now confused how the bleep they can do that, if I used my debit card and don't have a flipping Paypal?? I work 15 hours a day, on my feet the entire time, for the measly money I get and I need it refunded because the sellers are basically admitted scammers. I need the answer promptly, before they refund it to nowhere, basically.

 

Forgive me if this is the "wrong" forum section, I've never had to post a complaint before.

97% isn't great? Ah well, regardless, they are scammers not because they cancelled. They are scammers because, as I said, they didn't have the item to ship to me. I told them: if you do not have the item, be honest, and refund me.

 

 

They refunded me. 

 

 

I asked them this because the tracking information was stuck on "shipping label created" for days. I looked up what this meant and it means, they purchased shipping, but did not send anything. I tracked again and it said, "The facility is AWAITING receipt of item."

 

So they didn't even send it!! I asked why not, since the item is "located" in NY and *I* am in NY. Then tracking said a facility in Ohio is waiting for the item. What the bleep is it doing in Ohio?? Then they said it will take 14 days. Excuse me? I told them I received items from Scotland, London, and China/Hong Kong several times and they took 2 days, excluding the weekend. Why are you sitting around not shipping my item for 2 WEEKS when we are few miles apart...why is it in Ohio, and why after you posted feedback on my profile stating "Very good customer. Instant payment" are you still waiting? I said "get out of your house and ship. Where is my package?" Other comments in their feedback said something along the lines of, it takes so long because the items are not as promised. Basically false advertisement. I dunno. I order  A LOT online (not from eBay in almost 10 years FOR THIS REASON) and I have pretty good intuition after dealing with professional and quick merchants, and red flags were raising here. I told them I gave them a chance. You cant look at it from a SELLER'S perspective. You have to look at business from the buyer's perspective always, because you don't lose anything since you're not spending money. The only thing you lose is future business if you screw with a customer's money. It's not like I didn't pay, or received the item and am doing all this. I paid for a non-existent item. I have every right to be p*ssed and take measures for security.

I will mark everyone's comments as helpful if/when the situation is 100% resolved

 

(that I get refunded in reasonable time aka before 2019! And that I receive a replacement of the same item from another merchant so that I do not have to re-order from these people should I not get refunded).

They aren’t getting out of the house to ship because they aren’t a small seller who works that way.  This is a seller based in Hong Kong that claims drop shipping from the US.  They might be drop shipping from the US they might not be but if they actually are they are depending on someone else to do the shipping for them.   But yes this sellers feedback is not good in my opinion. 

 

And sellers have a lot of ways they can lose money with a transaction.

But it is important to accept that you lack of seeing the email is not a reason to blame the seller or PP for any problem you are experiencing.  You WERE informed, you just didn't see the notification.  That would be your responsibility to do and no fault of the seller or PP that you did not.  You've made assumptions that are not what is actually happening because you didn't see the notifications.  You will be just fine.  Your money will be returned to your original payment method as stated in the email you overlooked from a few days ago.

Most posters don't come to the threads to recieve kudos.  Nor are we responsible for what your seller does and doesn't do.

Debit card refunds usually take 3 to 14 BUSINESS days
