How to print listing page for listing I purchased

the same question as this locked thread from a few years back

https://community.ebay.com/t5/Seller-Tools/How-do-I-print-the-listing-for-an-item-I-purchased/td-p/2...

None of the workarounds seem to work anymore.  WHY would EBAY get rid of someone's ability to print a listing with all pictures in a nice archival manner? CTRL+P on a listing page looks like TRASH.

It's important for me to be able to preserve original listings for rare & collectible items I purchase for
1. Provenance
2. Listing Details
3. Price history

4. Origin/Seller details

and other reasons. plus I like to do it.

Ebay should enable this functionality asap.

Printing a listing should work as long as it is done within ninety days of the item ending; after that the listing may expire and no longer appear on the site.

You may want to explore using an ad blocker's element hiding tool to block all the sponsored listings that eBay adds to the listing once it has ended.

Sometimes it's faster to have a notebook for these transactions.

@dlovasct,

Rather than printing out listing pages I take and save screen shots to a folder.  If you use Windows do a search for Change default screenshot folder location - Microsoft. If you use another operating system do a search for saving screen shots on its site.

If you use a browser like FireFox, do a search for "Where does FireFox save screen shots - Mozilla Support". It will tell you how to save screenshots as a JPG in a selected location.

For my really rare or valuable collectibles I do manually back up my electronic files in a memory stick.  I also back them up in a note book. They do not crash become infected or corrupted.

Re: How to print listing page for listing I purchased

Yeah, I guess I’ll have to resort to something like that.  It’s just annoying that functionality that used to exist no longer does.  I like to store physical hard copies of listings (in as few pages as possible) along with the items almost as a COA of sorts, it’s also the sort of thing I’d send to any subsequent buyer of an item if I were to sell them.

I may ultimately develop my own tool to accomplish this with Python or something - thanks for the suggestions everyone

When they changed the format, larger main picture with 'other pictures' to the left instead of underneath, you can't even 'copy/paste' a picture AT ALL anymore; that is probably why the listing is not printing correctly
