Whenever I try to list an item for sale my account "believes" that I'm located in the US and switches delivery options to US options and the currency to US dollars. But in reality I'm located in Italy. How can I fix this?

Sorry. My question ended up in the "buying" section. Obviously this regards sales.

Somehow you at some point were directed to the U.S. based site, possibly by looking at a U.S. seller's items for sale. If you use the App to search and shop on ebay and do that, when you log out then log back in again it will be to this site (ebay.com) and that is why you are seeing prices in U.S. $. To get back to your home site login manually with your username and password to www.ebay.it
The Italy based site.

Hi. Thanks for your reply. I tried what you suggested, but unfortunately it didn't solve the issue. Only after I also deleted all my draft listings eBay "recognized" the correct country settings. It appears as if existing listings won't adjust, only newly inserted listings will "pick up" the updated location settings. Thanks for your help.

Yes, that is correct. Once you have created a listing on one eBay website, there is no way to change it to a different eBay website. You have to start a new listing on the correct eBay website where you want to make the listing.
