How long do you wait till let ebay know item has not been received? Way passed ebay estimate dates…
I bought from this seller many times and seller lives pretty close and always get it within 3 days top…but this time ..well, it is not the sellers fault by any means …he shipped right away but the postal screwed up.
Tracking show item came and processed shorting center here 8 days a go…when I see this on tracking I usually get it the same day or the next day …processing shorting center is only few hours from me.
anyway that was 10 days ago and no new tracking or scanning show after that.
nothing.
today I tracked and it still show processed shorting center that was 10 days ago no new movement….but it say moving through our network for 10 days too .
They must processed and sent to wrong place 10 days a go….
I signed up with USPS and allow to get email information about this package movement in every step …but got nothing for days either..
I send email to seller and he just say wait few more days….sure.
but how long? How much more?
this isn’t that cheap item and it’s a Birthday gift that should rd by October 23rd which is Sunday….
but unlikely…and I had to go out buy another gift because of it….

If you've waited "way past" the EDD, you've waited long enough. I'd say it's time. Good luck.

I would wait a few more days, as the seller requested, even though the likelihood of a successful delivery decreases every day. Just be sure to file your INR claim before the eBay deadline, which is 30 days after the latest estimated delivery date.

Between this and your other purchase that you posted about, you've had some really bad luck.

Hi @mybabylily
I would file an ‘Item not received’ case 27 days from the estimated delivery date … to be sure you file within 30 days.
I’ve had a couple of deliveries go cross country 3x before being delivered to me … one going FL > CA > NJ > CA.

But those cross-country deliveries were at least getting tracking scans. A 10-day lack of scans is the ominous part.

Not really. After being scanned at a hub within 30 miles of my home … there were no scans for about a week.
Next scan was entering NJ … but not leaving. No scans for about another week. Next scan was ‘Delivered’.
[There were two chunks of time when scanning went dark.]

Might want to do step number two unless your seller has already done so. This seems to shake packages loose at times.

Way "passed" estimated delivery date? Let's hope it's not more than 30 days.

@mybabylily You aren't punishing the seller by filing an INR. The complaints are typically that the item eventually gets delivered and the buyer then gets it for free. You seem super conscientious and would certainly pay back the seller once you actually receive the item. You need to make sure you are covered yourself. Remember to always place your air mask on first, then the mask of the other passenger. Best of luck to you....

Is Oct. 23rd the estimated delivery date that Ebay gave you?

Kensgiftshop”
No, ebay estimate delivery date was 13th.
yes of course, I am not punishing the seller and I do not expect anything for free and I too sell on eBay so I understand very well.
I will wait till end of next week and if nothing, than I may have take action…I need the money back and the gift, I already bought another gift from Amazon…so when or if item shows up, I just send it back to seller if I get a refund…I do not need or want the item for my self.
I am however out $$$$$$ right now because had to buy another gift…

Since it has been 12 days "past" the estimated delivery date, you should talk to someone at your post office, contact the seller, and if that does not work out - contact eBay. I would not wait any longer.
