just searching "new" listings you can see that ebay continues to have no ability to stop this madness. There are now around 23,000 listings so they are not showing any signs of slowing down the abuse. Now I'm seeing international sellers looking to make some money shipping us globally which is humorous. Clearly ebay has let the horses run wild and the barn has collapsed.
Yesterday I spoke with the attorney generals office in Missouri. The ball is rolling. Going after individuals in Missouri and ebay. They mentioned they will class action with other states on ebay. The price is going to be steep for ebay being incapable of shutting down piratebay categories. Those of you in other states, if you see someone in your state selling alot of items that are considered national emergency price gouging products (masks, cleaners, soaps, sanitary items) get in touch with your attorney general office website and report it.
I also got a letter from the state of California attorney general office in regards to their investigation of ebay. They are fully aware and will address it. Being I'm not in California I probably don't have the interest as if someone from California gets in touch with them.

****GENERAL REPLY *****
This is how people should be responding to the supply chain issues, not by clearing out stores to sell needed items. We need to look out for our neighbors and not be thinking about how we can profit from a crisis.
I am proud to say that this story is from my town.

Price gouging is illegal on Ebay.
1) Report Item (Click Under listing)
2) Select "Listing Practices"
3) Select "Fraudulent Listing"
4) Select "You suspect this is a fraudulent listing."

That is incorrect as that is "items being sold without the owner's authorization"
The correct way to report is:

This has been very satisfying, working to effect a very positive result! This push by all the fantastic individuals reading this thread, and moving to action has been incredible. NOW IS NOT THE TIME TO STOP! KEEP THE COMPLAINTS FLYING. Ebay is not the target you should address. All of the State Attorney's General Offices are listening now. Target the complaints to the individuals named in this article;
California AG has addressed Ebay CEO Schenkel, this price gouging is going to end real soon. I wouldn't want to be a price gouger seller with 100's of items in my completed listing file... can't erase them, and in some states is $5-10,000 per item fine and possible jail time.

Thanks for sharing the news article. These news articles will become more common in the next week as these states start to build up the resources to come after these pirates. Those pirates better start getting some money together for retainers for their legal defense.
Now the AG's are involved you can bet all the "sold" listings will be provided as evidence to each state, those states will obtain those user names and addresses and be dealt with. The more of us that see these posts and take the few minutes to report this to your state attorney general consumer protection division the more they will start lining up to take down these pirates.
