If you're talking about an actual product review and not seller feedback, you need to first realize that not all products sold here are eligible to receive product reviews. On those that are, the listing should either show reviews with a 'leave a review' link, or have a 'be the first to review' link if the product is eligible but has no reviews.

Now do you mean a "product review" or do you mean individualized feedback.
It is an issue. I routinely see "product reviews" show up on my listing as a result of a review someone who was NOT my buyer left having bought it from some OTHER seller. ANY product review that ANYONE leaves ANYWHERE shows up on the listing page of EVERY seller who sells that product even if they had nothing to do with the sale.
If it is anything less than a glowing review then MY listing will show an inferior review through NOTHING that I did or was involved with. In fact EVERY seller who carries that item will have the same review show up on their listing. So unless you are planning on leaving an absolutely glowingly positive review I would ask you to reconsider. Because EVERY seller will have that negativity in their listing pages even though they had NOTHING to do with the sale.
If one seller puts out a less than perfect version of that item then all other sellers who are selling brand new perfect versions get tarred by that same brush.

If a product is new and not made by the seller, a product is a product is a product, and reviews SHOULD be relevant across all sellers. If I buy say, a brand-specific power tool and it sucks, then yes, potential buyers should be aware that the product sucks, doesnt matter WHO is selling it - Home Depot, Lowes, Amazon, ebay, whoever. Consumer reports, Wired, Cnet - all review various items and the reviews are for the item, not the sellers. If an Acme Left Handed Widget is a lemon, and you are selling one, buyers should know its a lemon
