Ebays feedback

Having been buying and selling on eBay for 20 years and reading the problems people are having,  it’s quite obvious that the integrity of the public in general has declined significantly. But eBay has declined even more.  Ebay manipulates the feedback posts which prevents the users from weeding out the trash.  They do that as a survival mechanism. Until the ethical users wake up and stop participating in their manipulative scheme,  eBay will continue to turn a blind eye to all the fraud and deceit to make the all mighty $.  This is the same business model that all the social media accounts use to make $ and control the masses.  While pretending to be an ethical concerned business,  they create division among the people, double talk and deny, all the while having their hand in your pocket.  Wake up people.

@champsrr,

  "Ebay manipulates the feedback posts which prevents the users from weeding out the trash".

Since you mostly sell on this ID, I'm guessing your complaint is not being able to leave non-positive feedback comments for buyers without having them removed. That policy was instituted in May of `08 and unfortunately will not change.  However, you can check the feedback profile of bidders/buyers to see if they leave a lot of soft positives or non-positive feedback.  There's not much you can do if a person uses BIN. However, you can check the profiles of bidders, cancel bids and block those whose feedback left for sellers indicates problems.

Can't say that I disagree with that statement at all.  However, it s not just limited to eBay.  Other sites have their problems as well.  As a buyer I've learned how to avoid scams and poor sellers.  Unfortunately, its not as easy to determine if a buyer is reputable or not. Though there can be ways to prevent buyers from getting away with scamming sellers.
