I have gone back through my reviews, and in the last 12 months 50% have been negative, before that they are rare, and it's the same reasons.
1. Ebay allowing "US Stock" on items that are not...that's fraud. Ebay doesn't care, does nothing about it, removed my negative review, won't cancel the order because seller said it's shipped, then later get tracking showing an "international package tracking was created"...proving it wasn't US stock, proving it still hasn't been shipped. If I wanted to wait weeks and save money I can order from China myself!!!
2. Being sold incorrect or blemished/broken items. I was sold a gpu with the wrong stock photo, I can't use it..no refund. I was sold a "new tire" with "blemish" burned into the side, no refund.
3. Ebay has been ZERO help. They have removed my negative review for the seller that lied, they left a negative mark on the blemished item, but removed all of my words describing it, all while they have done nothing for me. I have been through all of the nasty help loops that take you round and round.
4. I really liked ebay...bad people are not a new phenomenon, but ebay assisting them is, ebay's customer service from India was useless. Ebay is obviously in decline, I have seen people blaming Temu/Alibaba/Amazon, but it's not because they exist, it's because they are BETTER, and Ebay refuses to improve, but instead chooses to get worse.
5. Oh, I have seen, and expect the classic bot responses to this. It's so ironic that ebay won't cut costs by getting rid of the bots out there simping for them in these comment sections, or the worst AI on the planet that they have.
6. Jump ship, get out of dodge, I warned you. Ebay, farewell, I will miss what you once were.

Yeah, being rude to people that want to defend fraud is the wrong response.

"Yeah, if a seller commits fraud, you must spend your own time to return the worthless item to seller for refund. Makes sense. Penalty on the innocent buyer...awesome...love how you are on team fraud."
Nothing' fraud 'about it. I actually just went thru my own item not as described case as a buyer.i opened a case, the seller didnt respond, on the fourth day I asked Ebay to step in and was immediately refunded.Couldnt have been easier, but that seems to be beyond your comprehension, for some reason. You'd rather keep screaming fraud!!! and insult those trying to understand what happened. Lifes too short...

So, if you are a victim of fraud on ebay, go out of your way to return the item to the seller that committed fraud. I love how in your mind, the victim should be penalized.

Yeah, I would hate for dissatisfied users to explain their grief with a site they have patronized for decades.

The rules are the same for everybody, no matter how entitled or special you think you are. The buyer must offer to return the item on the sellers dime. Obviously, all the yelling and screaming and stamping your feet hasnt resulted in a refund, so that doesnt seem to be working out too well for you.

You may be a lot of things but I don't believe "victim" is one of them.
Go buy a tire at Walmart or Les Schwab, they sometimes have defectives too.
Now, try to get a refund WITHOUT returning it..
Tell us how that works out for ya.

"There is NO MONEY BACK GUARANTEE, IT IS A LIE, YOU LIE. "
Have you ever read the links to the Money Back Guarantee? I did when I first started buying here and have NEVER not been refunded my money when dissatisfied with a purchase.
You can rant and rave all you want but until you start paying attention you will never have good results on Ebay or any other online selling platform.

The entire policy is on that link with details on what to do for both items not received and those that do not match the listing.

Constructive criticism ? All I've heard from you is whining and wailing and insults.
News flash...It is your fault.
The MBG is excellent IF you actually take the time to read it.

"there should not be a requirement on the buyer to do ANYTHING to get their money back. "
You mean like put forth any effort?

So in your mind if you buy an item from say a physical retail store you should be able to get a refund by calling them on the phone and not have to return to the store for a refund?
Same thing on Ebay, you have to return it.
That's some universe you live in. LOL Lol lol....................

Here ya go.
Why are you showing me that outdated superfluous information? I have sales so there are buyers out there. For every one that leaves there are 10 new buyers in their place.

How would you be penalized if you get your money back?
If you buy a bad item at a store, you would have to return it for a refund.

Walmart doesn't intentionally hide a blemish in pictures while selling a product and then act like it was a mistake. Do you folks hear yourselves?
