Ebay Bucks

I have not received any eBay bucks in almost a year. They just stopped, and all I see now is a bunch of zeros for every transaction. I did not end my eBay Bucks participation. Has anyone else had this happen? They do help a bit, especially with taxes.

The program was discontinued by eBay.  They offer them once in a while in special promotions.

They ended the automatic 1% eBay bucks around May of 2021. Now you can only get eBay bucks when they send you a promotion which you have to click on to participate, and example is (earn 5% bucks for 2 days on certain items).

Since they ended the Auto 1%, the promotions have been almost non existent. I hardly ever receive a promotion any more, I have earned $0 eBay bucks the last 2 quarters and I do buy a lot.

In the past I remember having $50 to $100 to spend at the end of the quarter.....those days are long gone.

I wish they would throw us a bone now and again.

Ebay is cutting all extra ways to get money and raising fees on everything.

They are being focused toward complete PROFIT and have no thought for their buyers, All while getting deteriorating customer and seller services and more glitches come up on the site every day.

I was what I consider a "power buyer" once. Most purchases made on ebay-bonus-bucks days. Haven't received a bucks-promotion in 7 weeks!  My hunch is that "occasional" promotions are being reduced to once a year maybe? Just wish they'd end the whole program rather than wait day by day to see if I'll "get lucky". ...  It's turned into a farce. 😞

Once in a while? Been 7 weeks for me. What an awful wait for something I can A. find somewhere else or B. live without. Might as well say ebay bucks has been DISCONTINUED.

I was also told, more than a year ago, about the 1% earnings being discontinued. And I was also told about the occasional promotions that would be offered. But in all the time since, I don't believe I've ever received an eBay Bucks offer. From what I see, it does appear that they've done away with the program. It's too bad. I used to look for items on eBay all the time before checking out the local bricks-and-mortar shops, but since Bucks have been discontinued, most of the time I look on eBay only when I haven't found what I wanted locally.

We never had eBay Bucks over here in Au, but I really don't think a $1.00 reward for a $100.00 spend would put me off buying on a platform - in saying that I am not a huge buyer, so I guess it was more whorthwhile for those that are and would be missed.

Other day, I came to eBay, was waiting for the page to load, hit refresh because it wasn't loading.
All of a sudden, right before page updated, the stupid little eBay Bucks icon pops up, but then is instantly erased forever, gone, BYEBYE, and never returned. What an absolute SCAM.

It was a scam because eBay discontinued something that was a "bonus" of 1%?

Thanks for clarifying this. I've spent close to 2K on eBay the last 2 years and didn't get a single eBay buck. I don't even bother checking anymore. What a flawed and useless program.

I agree with many others; why not simply get rid of it, instead of hanging onto it like a tattered worm on a fishhook?
