Re: Condition

Open a case for Item Shipped Not As Described. The seller will have to pay for the return shipping. You can use the packaging it came in and just have your mailman pick it up. Easy peasy to get a full refund upon return!

Re: Condition

There is really nothing else that you can do except file a not as described return request.  Of course, the seller is required to pay the return shipping.

If you are receiving very many of these kinds of SNAD items, I would recommend vetting one's sellers a bit more before placing one's order.

Re: Condition

@guitar5869,

It always amazes me that long time members with lots of buying experience, do not know how the Money Back Guarantee (MBG) works. You message the seller once, if they say send the item back and do not send a return shipping label. You go to the listing in your purchase history click on the Return Item button select not as described and if you can add photos of the flaws do that. The seller has three days to reply and or send a return label. and if they do not yo ask eBay to step in.

@guitar5869,

I forgot to reply to;

  "i don't like to leave negative feedback but I'm tired of it".

Too many people think like that. If a seller forces you to have to open a dispute in order to get a refund.  They have earned a negative feedback. They probably have others for the same thing already, and that is something you should check before buying.

If they respond to a return request message and send a return label, you can leave a neutral or not leave feedback at all.  Any feedback you leave should stick to the facts, without calling a seller names. Don't mention an ebay/PayPal dispute in any way, or the FB can be removed.

Ex; Sent unplayable disc, did/did not, send return label. did/did not refund promptly after received.

Re: Condition

If say you order 25 items & four are in bad condition and you leave negative feedback,then you are listed as leaving lots of negative feedback.

That is one of the reasons for vetting your sellers carefully.  To avoid having to return items and leave unfavorable feedback.

Hold off on feedback for now -- wait until you're closer to the 60-day deadline to leave feedback, after you've settled each item in bad condition.

For now, just click Contact seller as you did before, but this time, select Return this item, then start a Return request:

Re: Condition

I don't know much about CDs but assume either they work or they don't. It's not like a record that might have scratches. Unless they arrived warped or with the labels peeling off, how bad could they be?

Actually, I believe scratches can adversely affect a CD or DVD.
