I think it’s a notice from eBay that the transaction was cancelled. The seller may no longer be a registered user.
Is there any message, or just that? I’m wondering if the transaction number or maybe the seller’s name is mentioned anywhere in the message?

Just got the same exact message. I haven’t purchased anything in a couple weeks. I did place a bid today on an auction that disappeared (there were several auctions by that seller that disappeared at the same time. Not sure if that is related…

I do not see any transactions cancelled. I just checked. That was the COMPLETE message sent to me. No item number,..nothing else.

If I get bored tomorrow I might just phone eBay, and see what they say (in the Philippines, or wherever they have their call center these days.)

Got another one today. This is really starting to be irritating;

This is in your eBay messages, not your email?

Thanks for posting the link ... it goes to the eBay help page for "Returns, items not received, and refunds for buyers", specifically to the Contact-eBay section at the bottom of that page. So that's what this is about. It has something to do with a listing or transaction that they think you might need help with.
Can you remember anything like that?

Another poster recently posted about receiving the same message from eBay. That poster seemed to think the message was in response to bidding on a listing that was subsequently removed by eBay -- possibly one of those recent "pawnshop" scam listings, or something very similar.
