eBay Saving Sensitive Seller Info

Hi,

I’m thinking about selling on eBay. Right now, I’m pretty confident that eBay will protect my sensitive information such as my bank account number, and my Social Security number to receive the proper tax form and to get paid. I spoke to eBay once over the phone, and they told me everything is encrypted and safe. Can other ebay sellers attest to this? I’m pretty sure I would be fine, but still want more reassurance. Thank you

@to-tony-us-1  i've been selling on ebay for about 15 yrs and never had any personal info leaked, at least that i know of LOL

it's not like a bunch of other companies don't have our data, like our banks, payment processors, etc
