I have a charge from Ebay in my bank statement for 221.00. I have no record of that charge about at all in my Ebay account. How do I dispute this charge if Ebay can't see it? It's still pending but the funds are allocated out of my account for the time being. Can anyone help

@jonanew88 Did you make an offer on an item but not go through with the sale? If so this can cause a pending that will fall off.
Many sellers have immediate payment required for offers so a pending shows when a buyer makes an offer and then it falls off unless the seller accepts it.

Here's my advice to help secure your account:
#1 Run a full scan with your virus software to remove any spyware from your computer.
#2 Go to my eBay> account>personal information and make sure that all information is correct including your cell phone number, registered email and ship from and to addresses.

#3 Change your passwords and secret questions. My eBay> account> sign in and security

#4 Secure your email account.
Change the passwords and secret questions. Be sure to use different passwords and secret questions on eBay and your email. Do not use these passwords on any other account.
Hacked accounts often start with a hacked email account.
#5 Calling is the only way to report hacked accounts for security reasons.

IF you are outside the US or Canada you will need to use Skype to call.

This is where you can ask eBay to remove any transactions from your account and refund your money. Be sure to ask for a credit for sellers fees if the hacker used your account to sell any items.
#6 For extra protection consider turning on two-step verification. It's towards the bottom of this page:

#7 Unlink all Social Sign in methods and change your passwords on those accounts too. The hacker will be able to use the social sign in links to sign in to your account again if you do not disconnect this option.

According to your Feedback Profile page, you have received 7 recent feedbacks for purchases made this month. Suggestion is that you double check your purchase history and go through your purchases and try to match up the amounts of each purchase to the charge on your bank statement.

Could you have purchased an item with a different Ebay account or made a purchase as a guest?

I don't have anything close to this amount in my Bids and offers, my watchlist, or my purchases. This number is out of nowhere.

eBay can only help with charges connected to your eBay account.
If someone else used your credit card number to make a purchase using a different eBay account, you would need to take that up with your credit card issuer to find the details of the purchase or to dispute the purchase and get a new card number issued.

So I did some digging. Apparently it's the total of the day's purchases, to the penny. All of the orders have been finalized seperately through my bank. Then, today, the total for all of those orders was drafted out of my account this morning. Any ideas? TIA

@jonanew88 If the payments are pending still in addition to being charged to your account then you need to talk to your bank. Pending comes off with my bank once the payments for purchases are processed.
