How does anyone know how much shipping is going to be, they don't, because they have no idea who's going too purchase their item and where they live. If you notice it's the biggest scam on ebay, lower the price and charge more for shipping, that's not cool in my book, ebay should have shipping run through them so it cuts down on the scammers, and the price would be consistent, what does everyone think of tha.

Sellers choose calculated shipping dependent on the details of the package (dimensions & weight) and method of shipping & carrier, then Ebay will calculate price based on buyers zip code/location.
Buyers can see the shipping charges on the listing page.

eBay has been BBB accredited since 9/1/1998.

They have the highest (A+) rating:

Most sellers are not trying to scam anyone. Some sellers are new and don't know what they are doing. True scammers do show up on the site on a regular basis, but eBay will take them down when reported. And scams increase significantly during the holidays, as I can attest by the junk that arrives daily in my email purporting to be from any number legitimate businesses.
