Non-paying bidder

My listing ended on June 14.  Sent invoice to buyer and eBay also reminded buyer to pay.  I also sent a message to the buyer (gentle reminder to pay so that I can ship the item).  It's June 17 and buyer still hasn't paid and hasn't responded to my message.  Item ID: 166813369993.  Buyer (eagle2003snowmobi).  Buyer has excellent feedback where other sellers praise her for great communication and swift payment.  I seem to be the only seller that can't get paid and to whom the buyer refuses to communicate with.  I don't want to cancel this transaction.  I would just like to get paid so that I can ship the item.  Also, eBay's automated help doesn't address this issue, so looking for help here.   Thanks

@stevestrac

As a fellow seller I know how frustrating non paying buyers can be.

When a buyer doesn't pay you can cancel the sale after 4 FULL DAYS so on the 5th day cancel as buyer hasn't paid. This gives the non-paying buyer a strike on their account and they also will not be able to leave feedback. Then you relist OR do a second chance offer. You can relist by selecting sell similar from the drop down menu next to the sold item, it was sold just not paid for.

If the buyer receives 2 or more strikes in 12 months then they are blocked from auctions or best offers for one year ( as long as the seller sets this up in account settings) and can only make immediate payment purchases, if they get too many strikes then eBay may remove the buyer from the site.

Do not send an invoice or it starts the clock over again for when you cancel as buyer hasn't paid. eBay sends payment reminders.

Unpaid items:

Add the buyer to your blocked buyer list:

Have you set up your buyer requirements in account settings?

Click this link: https://www.ebay.com/bmgt/buyerrequirements Then block buyers with 2 or more unpaid items in 12 months.

If you are not shipping internationally also block buyers in locations you do not ship to.

Then at the bottom of the screen look for buyer Payment Requirements put a check next to>>

Require buyers to provide a payment method before they place a bid.

Require buyers to provide a payment method before they make an offer.

These settings will cut down on your non paying buyer issues.

Re: Non-paying bidder

You can cancel for non-payment 4 full calendar days (after the 5th midnight Pacific Time) after you sent the invoice.   Don't send invoices or reminders, invoices reset the clock to pay and eBay sends more than enough reminders.
