Accidental dispute filed

I am trying to return an item but when I hit on the return button it says I can't because I already filed a dispute on it. But dispute was filed by me accidentally and I did not mean to do it and I do not know how to remove it so that I can continue to return the item. Any suggestions?

If a Buyer opens a dispute with their payment source (credit card, bank, PayPal, etc), that automatically voids their eBay 30-Day Money Back Guarantee.  Is that the type of dispute you opened?

If you already opened a return request and closed it, you cannot open a new case.
