No PayPal/ suspicious seller.

I won an auction and the seller listed PayPal as an accepted method of payment. Turns out he doesn’t have a PayPal account. I canceled the payment but now I’m suspicious of this seller.  The item is being shipped from Russia. He’s a new seller,  no transactions or feedback. I should have seen all this before bidding. My bad. I messaged the seller and have not gotten a response as of yet. Not sure what to do . Any advice?

What sort of advice are you looking for? You've cancelled the payment so you no longer are at risk of losing your money. I limit my purchases to $20.00 on zero feedback sellers so that I'm not up at night worrying about being scammed.

I suppose I’m wondering if anyone else has had this happen and what was the outcome.  Just worried about repercussions from the seller or eBay. It wasn’t a lot of money and yes, the transaction was canceled so I'm safe as far as that goes. Thanks for your response.
