How to change the "Payment by..." on a single item

Hi - I need a little help here...

I have a buyer who wants one of my items, but is visiting in an area with non-secure internet, so can't pay for it for at least a week. Back in the days of "Unpaid Item Assistant" it was easy to go into a single item and override the  'payment required within x days' so that they could make the purchase, but not get unpaid item notices (or at least have longer before they got them). Under the 'new & improved' system, I can't find any way to make an adjustment on a single item - only to go in and change my preferences for everything!

Am I missing something? Anyone know how to change individual items?

I think the best you can do is end the listing and relist in a week when he can pay.

Thanks for replying... not a solution. 

I asked this once  before,  but lost the solution; I found it a few minutes ago! There is an 'exclude' list - I can put them on it, and once this transaction is complete, remove them again.

I was going to suggest the exemption list, but wasn't sure it excluded the buyer from the payment assistant as ebay didn't specifically say it would.  Hopefully is does as you expect.

Great, glad it worked.  So many changes, yet old documentation not up to date or complete.
