I thought I was purchasing a new cannon printer on ebay but when it arrived it had a paper jam and the ink was installed.

Double check every inch of the listing to make sure you didn't miss important info about the printer - before you file a claim.   You can also post the item number and we can take a look for you.   Item condition is stated in each listing - or is supposed to be.   If it wasn't stated and you just assumed, then the seller may not be responsible - altho they are supposed to make everything clear about the item.

The seller said New Cannon printer. I am now having a hard time getting in touch with the seller.

When I put the seller's ID to send to ebay thay said no such seller and I do not find my purchase on ebay.  Can seller erase my purchase and his id?

Why does my recent order on June 21 not show up on purchase history?  That is the date I purchased the Cannon printer that was supposed to be new.  The seller has disappeared as well. When I put his name to file dispute ebay has no recond of the name that I purchased from.  Seems like a scam

@maryellewebe_0  - as long as you used eBay Checkout to purchase the printer, you have eBay Money Back Guarantee, even if the seller was removed for some reason (they can't erase your history)

Did you buy this as a Guest without realizing it - ie, not signed in to your account? A Guest purchase will not carry over to your eBay account, they are handled separately.

Locate the email from eBay confirming the purchase on June 21 - you should still have that - what does it show?
