Please help me with suggestions on how to handle buyers remorse return requests for jewelry. Oddly this is my third in a row remorse return for jewelry. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Does eBay back you up as a seller for NOT accepting remorse returns?
Should you block the buyer for the future?
Does blocking the buyer reflect badly on you with eBay corporate?

Dear seller, due to the fact that sanctions have been imposed on sending a parcel to our country (Russia), there is a ban on jewelry, so I cannot receive your jewelry. The postal service doesn t send them to me. I want to return the goods to you, I ask you to understand me and accept your parcel back and return the money to my card. All the best to you.

You stated you recently changed your return policy. If the original return policy for that brooch was No Returns, then you can indeed decline the return for the reason "doesn't fit." If the return policy for that brooch was 30 day returns, then you must accept the return for any reason.

According to your completed listings, you DO accept Returns.
"30 days returns | Buyer pays for return shipping"
You can block the buyer if you wish.
Blocking the buyer does not reflect badly on you with "Ebay corporate".

I appreciate your quick response on blocking buyers.
Yes I do accept returns with 30 days and buyer pays shipping. That is not at issue or part of the questions.

Accepting Buyers Remorse Returns is what I am asking about.
Bottom line is it seems that any reason a buyer wants to return an item eBay will back the buyer if you contest the return. A Buyers Remorse Return as Seller just do the return and get on with other sales. eBay seems not to side with the seller . I thought eBay would back the seller. I think the way a seller needs to look at it is that its like Amazon for returns, "Just do it!" LOL
Examples:
I have had very few return requests. Three in a row jewelry BUYERS REMORSE saying, it doesn't fit, I don't like it and now cant send to Russia.
When a buyer says a brooch does not fit that seems like a remorse return. Also the buyer is wanting to return an item because she can not send it to Russia due to sanctions, that seems to me to be a buyers remorse reason.

if you accept returns, the buyer can return for any or no reason at all.

You missed my point of my response. I was pointing out the fact that your completed listings indicate that you accept Returns. That means ALL returns, regardless of the reason.
There would be no reason for Ebay to get involved.

Thanks Lady M. Got it's "all" not an exclusion or selection of reason. This item was sold before I changed to "accepts returns Seller Pays postage". So, you are saying only sellers who say "no returns" are protected in disputes.
When I called the help desk, they indicated that I did not have to accept buyer's remorse returns. That eBay would rule in my favor. There seems to be some confusion even at the help desk about returns.
Currently I am getting emails from the buyer, however they have not returned the jewelry. I'll just have to wait out the time for the return to expire or get the jewelry back.
I also am trying to find out if you exclude countries and the buyer uses an import export broker if the seller is covered. The work around or procedure seems to be use ebay international shipping then you are covered for many odd issues that can arise with international sales. (Except in the case of an USA delivery to a broker).
I get 5 to 10 international sales each year might not be worth the bother.
