Buyer refused delivery

As the seller, I mistakenly used a box that was too large. USPS, when delivering to the buyer, demanded an additional delivery fee. Of course the buyer refused delivery and requested a refund. When I go into eBay, the only option is to send the buyer a prepaid label, but since they didn’t take delivery, that makes no sense. How do I get the package returned to me? Thank you!

Re: Buyer refused delivery

If the buyer refused delivery, USPS will be sending the package back to you.  Return shipping takes longer than the original trip.  When you get the item back, and the buyer no longer wants the item, you can refund.

Go to Seller Hub > Orders > Paid & shipped

Locate the item.  Click the down arrow, click Cancel order.  Select a reason, submit.
