When is the best Day and Time to List?

Hi I'm new to ACEO's and this group (thanks for the invite 🙂 I was wondering what Days and Times of day on average have you found the best sales of ACEO's? Is it the weekend, or is there any difference? Lately I've been posting as I finish, which doesn't seem to work. I avoid Saturdays. However, if there were a 'secret' best time to list, we would all do it. Some seem to think 6-7pm Pacific time is the best, but if you look at sales, ACEOs sell at all times of the day and night. ~Jillian

Hi Cory~I've tried morning~noon and night everyday of the week. Just when I think I might have the answer it cools down on my hot day. I gave up and list them as I finish them. As Jillian said I wish there were a magic time and day~~~Jan

I mostly list as I finish too, the only time I avoid are mornings. At least that way, the west coast is awake too. I'm not sure there really is an optimal time because theoretically eBay is world-wide. I've even had a buyer from Japan (that was very cool).

I used to think that Saturday and Sunday were the best days to list. It seems that most of mine sell on Monday or Tuesday nights (I would never have expected that!) ~ Kristin

Good point about mornings Karen. I have a phantom/ghost ACEO in Italy which I think is cool too.

Since the majority of my sales have always seemed to come from the East Coast, New England and Central States I usually try to hit those time zones. And after a while you can sort of get to know your return customers buying/time patterns. But nothing is ever for sure. I avoid Saturdays, too. But sometimes list late Saturday nights.

I list on the autumnal and vernal equinox and during half-time of the superbowl. I think months with "R" in them are unlucky. Most of my bidders are in penal institutions so I schedule my auctions accordingly. When I'm listing scams and frauds I make sure to coordinate with Greenwich Mean Time. I haven't decided yet whether I want to favor the part of North Dakota that is in the Central Time Zone or the part that is in the Mountain Time Zone, Maybe that's why I don't have a lot of sales in North Dakota. I tried to go back in time once to list some things but I got a really bad headache.

For a while I tried a psychic hotline, but they told me to consult a magic 8 ball. It kept saying "future is unclear." So, I'm going with the Farmers Almanac.

Ahhhhahaha -- mreas' answer is the best, probably!! Seriously, I agree with Kristin -- for some reason, Monday and Tuesday nights are best for me... Night time is definitely better. But nothing is perfect!!
