I picked up an art magazine (The Pastel Journal) yesterday and one of the ads consisted of showing an artwork - for a 5x7 pastel painting (a little child on a beach picking up shells - I think) and it said -
auction starting at $100 and then the URL - it was an off-eBay blog.
In art and handmade crafts there is a DEFINITE trend towards this individual approach to creative sales (selling & auctioning from blogs) and even twitter, facebook, etc.
I must admit, that I sold one of my art works (ACEO) from a watercolor blog.
This group has a blog and a 'sister' blog for SFA (small format art), where members can be authors and put up their work, as well as links to their auctions/sales. 1 image per day limit, but as many links as you wish. Request to join through my eBayID and add @gmail dot com.
With google offers a free 'shopping cart' that you can add to many places.
If you get a blog I can recommend through blogger dot com (run by google). But eBay blogs - you are lost in a sea of people selling all manner of things, your chances of being found are not great.
That is where the artist in the ad was...

I'm going to go look now.
