Shipping ACEO's question

How do you ship them ? I ship them in padded envelopes with delivery confirmation and I use Media Mail to keep costs down, but it seems to take so long. Maybe it's becuase I use Priority mail on my other paintings. Thank you guys :) Juli

I have a PO mail box and find that they DO bend bubble padded envelopes. I use a 6x6" CD envelope - bought in bulk on ebay for 16 cents each. They cost 52 cents to post. To insure the envelopes need to be at least 1/4" thick, I believe, so have heard of some putting a packing 'peanut' in, to make it thicker.

I put my ACEOs in a soft sleeve & a toploader (hard sleeve) then ship it with stuff cardboard in a bubble mailer. I make sure the cardboard is strong enough not to bend (because some types do bend easily.) I use a packing peanut or roll up a little piece of bubble wrap and put that in the package to make it thick enough for delivery confirmation. :) Jane
