I just got an email that the subject was "eBay Seller Fees Recurring Billing Payment" from paypal.

Now, I'm not selling anything now nor do I plan to, but it says "Recurring". Does that mean eBay is going to charge me seller fee's every month no matter what now?

Ebay is so sleazy, you only saw the frosting on the cake. If someone told me right after college they had got a job at Ebay, I would tell them do not take it (and to run). Ebay has no business ethics except what level of sleaze they can get away with. Finally look at Shopify, Amazon and many other stocks, then look at Ebay, they will be the AOL of the internet someday, just wish it would happen tomorrow. I have 6,000 listings on the big A web siteand 60 listings on Ebay and everytime I add to Ebay they give so many reasons to look at a more ethical, better run electronic flea market, that can provide a simple flat playing field. All I want and they really can not provide that to small sellers.

Reading through these post seems like contacting your states Attoney General would be the approtiate response to Ebays bottom feeding tactcs.

My checking account keep doing a pre auth. For a 1.00. 4 times it has done that. I have never sold anything

@mojpick_fk1jtef Your eBay bill should give you the information as to why the $1:00 is being charged. You can also check to see if you are signed up for a subscription that charges a fee, such as Selling Manager Pro. Go to your My eBay and click on "account" and then "subscriptions". You should also check your PayPal account for subscriptions as well.

Pre-authorization is just a test to see if a card/account is real. It gets reversed. Four of them is a bit excessive.

I am not a seller on ebay. I have sold ANYTHING on ebay.

I was charged 160 one time from it.

I hadn't used ebay in YEARS and as soon as I came back on, it started happening. I've changed passwords and updated security on both ebay and paypal. Paypal has given back my money on all of them but this last one but they think it's a recurring fee so I reported the email as fraud. Because I had went so far as to remove paypal from ebay. When I came back on to buy something, paypal was back. I bought my item, removed paypal again. Got a fee.

I haven't sold anything in 2 months. I was charged each month and they placed restriction on my account because I didn't pay this month even though I'm not selling anything

Are you absolutely SURE the fees were paid the last time you sold something? I'm not trying to be snide, I just would suggest that you go back and make sure, depending on how you pay, something might have happened and eBay didn't get their money. Just a thought. Or, have you had listings that had add-ons in them that make the listings not free listings? That's a possibility, even if nothing sold. There are some add-ons that do have fees associated with them. Or, another possibility, are you set up as an eBay store account or are you just using a regular eBay non-store account? If you have a store account, I think there's a monthly charge that is associated with that.

I also received a similar message from my PayPal account, mine said: "You set up a billing agreement to automatically pay your eBay seller fees and any reimbursements repayments made under the eBay Money Back Guarantee Policy," but I'm not a seller, I'm a buyer and when I went to my PayPal it was showing that it was set up, so I don't know if I should cancel it or if I need to keep such agreement in order to continue to make purchases.

I just found a RECURRING PURCHASE AT EBAY deduction from my checking account for $4.25 with nothing on my acount or peurchases mentioning anything about it.

How can I find out if I subscribed to something that wasn't free. Ive only been selling for a month and they have a invoice I suppose to pay. What is it for? They say that there Is only two fees ...One for listing and the other when it sales. Ebay takes it out when you sale something. Im new to selling, I really don't know a lot about it. I have noticed that when I sell something, either ebay or pay pal takes some it. I al ready knew about that...
