Purchased these at a garage sale in Illinois in 1990. I do not know
anything about Staffordshire Ware. Does anyone know age or possible

anything about them! Scalloped design, silvery green color, marked Gates
Chicagoates Chicago. I don't think that is Teco, but what are they?

I have a goose bowl 6 inches by 3 inches high. It was a incised triangle
mark with an x inside, other characters I can not make out. It is signed

Final update!Thank you to anyone who has read these posts and tried to
help (except I had to block Maxine)I have a collection of over 400
pieces of American Art pottery and if anyone else needs help with any
other pottery (particularliy 19th century)...
Oh, i guess you did not read my last two replies. The second bowl the
mark is even harder to read than my original posted pic of the first
bowl. I found info on Gates pottery but if anyone has info on "Bates
Chicago" mark I would really appreciate it...
