Hard to tell what the central stone is from the picture but it does look
like it could be aventurine. The aventurine/ruby combination and gold
work makes me think it resembles Mughal/India-style jewelry. Couldn't

I may be wrong, but the design has kind of a naturalistic, Art Nouveau
look, which would date them to the early 1900s, as your research
suggests vis a vid the 1902/L&B connection.
It looks like a new-ish reproduction of a Victorian-era design to me
(maybe 1960s/70s/80s or later. The safety clasp would indicate that it's
a relatively modern piece, so nothing antique going on there. But it is
quite nice and in good condition, so...
