This is understandable, but a sudden drop in Promoted Listing metrics by
60-70% overnight would seem to indicate that something has changed

That is good to know that it isn't just my account. It just hit my
account like a ton of bricks today. I have seen minor fluctuations in
the last week or so, but something severe happened today. I attached a
