I sold a coin set and the buyer got it and then returned it to me. i
refunded his money and now i get a bill for the sellers fee. i should
have been issued a credit for the fee.

I got a email from the mint today---no proof silver eagles or burnished
silver eagles will be minted this year. Could this be the end of the
series? time will tell.
Iwas looking thru a bag of penneys that i got from my dad 30 years back
or so and found a copper coated penny--1943. this penny had been in
circulation and has a lot of wear on it. Did the mint do this or is it a
fake? just wondering-----paul
You will have to wait for several years for the nickels to bring a
profit( 10--20) but the silver market is up and down as well.Go to
Kitco.com for silver and gold prices. Hope this helps.
A tip for dollar coin collectors,go to your local post office, put a
twenty dollar bill in the stamp machine and get the lowest purchase on
it.You will get susans, sacagawea's and a mix of the presidents coins. It
might surprise you what comes out!!
Buy from the us mint--bep and you cant go wrong. Alot of people buy from
ebay what you can get direct from the mint and the bep and pay alot
higher prices for it!!
I have found that it is best to stay away from ms or proof 70, after a
coin ages it will change and you will have a 69-- all a coin needs is a
small spot to be a 69.The higher price does not justify the 70 grade.
