The GTC mandate is one of the biggest problems. People, if they can find
an item, just watch it. No urgency to buy, since the listing has 29 days
to go. By the time they get a "reminder" that an item is ending soon,
they've lost interest.
A lot has to do with the Good Til Cancelled limitation. I used to be
able to generate some buyer excitement with limited time periods, but
now people just watch items. If an item is going to be available for 30

Nope, not working for me either. I'm not sure if its GTC itself or some
other Ebay programming glitch, but as soon as GTC went into effect my
sales ground to a halt. At the same time, whenever I put up a new
listing I immediately get at least 4 views...
I've seen this too. Brand new listings immediately showing between 4-10
views. I've been a seller here for years and this is the first time I've
