Actual purchase never received. EBay ...
At some point a few years ago they loosened the matching so searches
brought back more items. Since then a lot of my old saved searches bring
back all kinds of unrelated garbage.

You got hit with a Tracking Scam. Whenever there is something hidden or
inaccessible (addresses) to one of the parties in a transaction, it
opens it up to cheats and scammers. In this case the tracking addresses
are inaccessible to you and maybe EBay...
