I recently sold a 2007 BMW M6 SMG III Trans Gear Box and noticed that
the "total purchase price" used to calulate the fee percentage charge by
ebay, was different from the total purchase price ebay deducted it's
calculated percentage from? IT WAS LES...
Just because something is legal doesn't make it right, especially when
it comes to corporate law. The buyer pays the tax, then the seller pays
a fee on that tax, which is removed from the final amount the fee is
subtracted from, because IT IS illegal...
I learned the hard way that they absolutely can! Even after I gave them
the Item and a full refund!! The best part is, there's nothing you can
do about it.......... Besides hope they find a short pier, during a long
walk.
I don't think this person is looking for an excuse. Ebay is expensive
for the services they offer, and I think they're just searching for
awnsers to combat decreased sales.
