As a buyer, it would be really nice if ebay kept track of how much I
have currently "offered" to various sellers via the "best offer"

most transactions were not worthy of your praise or comments of

I don't mean that you are looking for an excuse to complain, just that
your relationship as a buyer on ebay seems to be unhealthy for you if
4/5 are negative experiences. Negative experiences should be extremely
rare. I would just stop buying things ...
