I recently sold a bunch of comic book cards, probably $2000 worth for
$500+145 shipped. The shipping was about $135 (the package is 75 lbs) so
I did the nice thing: send him back $10 for overcharging. Not even a
thank you, but that's beside the point...
I just lost thousands of dollars worth of cards and had to refund the
buyer. Called eBay and they basically sided with the seller. It is the
only negative feedback I've gotten in 15 years and it'll be the last.

cards individually and wanted to get rid of them and I was willing to do

If the rubber bands are over the top of the cards directly, yes...they
could leave a crease...but even then when I received cards like that
they never had a crease because they were tied in stacks of 100. But
