I can't be with you I can't believe I'm going to give this advice but
you might look into filing in small claims court against the
buyer.However I'm not sure how that would work out because they did make
a good faith effort to return the item.
@anti-quarkNever refund via friends and family. If you do, the buyer can
escalate the case and get a refund that way as well as getting your
money via friends and family. It allows them to double dip.
Sometimes they can be very helpful.Please be sure to run an anti-virus
program on your computer and then change your passwords again after you
do that.
