I want to warn people that all selling platforms on the internet will be selling a bunch of Looted- Stolen items from the Riots. A whole bunch of new sellers will make accounts to sell their stolen goods.

It makes me sad that some will want stock prices to reflect increased sales of stolen items as genuine profits.

In any population, you're going to have a few who manage to make a success of themselves, but that doesn't mean EVERYONE OR EVEN MOST in the community will. Also, from what I understand of the successful blacks, they had ASSETS. Oprah Winfrey's ancestors owned property and so they had "bootstraps"

No, I don't see any contradiction. I read those linked articles. I saw how gucci donated for covid and for the scholarships and my only MINOR point is that $20,000 a year to scholarships is a DROP IN THE BUCKET to what they really COULD do for the poor black communities.

I'm actually not trying to force any beliefs on anyone. I saw the poster immible (spelling?) was a more OPEN THINKING poster than most members on the boards and I wanted to discuss his interesting thought of how stealing from a high profitable corporation by blacks was protesting. That's all!! The problem is when the other members on the board keep posting against me when I really don't want to get into an argument against THEIR FIXED BELIEFS!!

I found that statement so interesting by the other poster. From time to time we come across posters that feel that way. For some reason they think that posting on a public DISCUSSION type thread that whatever they say no one should comment on or DISCUSS. It is an interesting outlook on the nature of these threads.

The blacks WERE FORCED to come here. The whites FORCED THEM HERE TO BE THEIR SLAVES!! It's easy to say "pull your bootstraps" except when you DON'T HAVE ANY. Okay I'll tell you because you asked . The bootstraps can be found by pounding the pavement for a job ,, any job . Then work hard , be an asset and work your way up . Get some job experience under your belt and if you choose to look for something else that pays better you have your previous employer put in a good word for you . My mother was born into a dirt poor family in the deep south in 1921 . She had nine siblings until two succumbed . She told me there were days in school she couldn't concentrate on her work because she was so ashamed of her tattered clothing . She never got over the psychological damage until the day she died . But ,, when she was old enough she got a job and worked very very hard at it and she succeeded . A person just has to believe in themselves enough and she did . Tulips

Medicine/Truth never tastes good, but is intended to cure the ailment!

1) Compensation in the USA is being siphoned by the wealthiest. That's why they want Stock Shares, not paychecks. 60% of public can not afford to buy stock, pay bills, exist. They're not being fairly paid.

Employees get paychecks, pay taxes every two weeks, and pay raises of 1% to 3%. Cost of living goes up 2% to 5% every year. Who wonders why they continue to fall back? Truth?

Corp Top take shares, don't pay taxes every two weeks, have corp expenses accounts used to pay other personal bills? When they finally DO pay taxes, it's around the 6% area.

I'm a CEO/ Senior Staff and take 1 mil to 100 mil shares. I never purchased that compensation on the open market. I also get to siphon more cash out of the corp, that needs to go to employees, when the dividend is paid?

A $1 per year div pays the CEO an extra $1 million to $100 mil? Truth?

The employee gets to pay paycheck taxes every two weeks, gets to buy shares at the market, and gets a 5% match? When the employee gets to finally enjoy the spare change tossed their way, they get to pay 3 times the tax rate of the Corp Top. Truth?

Creative Destruction was invented to shed employees for the top to make Billions! It's not creative, it's destruction, though!

CO A buys CO B and fires/cost cuts 15% to 40% of employees? Can they exist on their 50 shares, after being fired to boost stock prices for the Top who own the 100's of millions of shares? Theirs a perverse incentive!

They get a "Golden Parachute" clause. It states they get to leave with millions and Millions when fired. Do you?

The incentive is to fire employees, make a huge bundle, get fired, walk away laughing. Truth?

I'm not sure why you addressed this message to me because I never said anything to contrary . I know Africans were first rounded up by other Africans and sold into slavery .. You're not really breaking a story ,, certainly not to me at least. It took a Republican president in Abe Lincoln to declare that ''All men are created equal '' and thus began the end of slavery . What followed was the bloodiest war ever fought on American soil . As a matter of fact more people were killed in the civil war than in all the wars combined that came after with U.S involvement . I'm pretty certain of this but you can research it for clarity . White and black men by the millions fought side by side to end slavery . Yes that is fortunate for the innocent victims . I'm relieved some will be getting their merchandise returned . We seen one young woman standing in the middle of the melee one night shouting out to some of the other looters that she had 3 gold bracelets so she wanted a few silver ones too ..
