Has anybody dealt with eToro USA a marketing company in cooperation with Ebay .
I signed up with this eToro USA who market Ebay products for sale by different sellers. In this job I was to put items in my cart but not buy them apparently to increase the interest in these products by increasing the interest in said products to encourage other buyers to increase their interest in the product. When I completed my tasks of adding products into my cart, I was to be paid for my work, and had to put in funds in order to be paid. This was my first time working this job and in order to paid I felt forced to pay the money that was requested by eToro USA to get my pay, and to get the funds I had to invest back with my pay withdrawal. Just before I was to be paid, eToro USA said that the Ebay seller was saying I made a simple mistake in completing my task and demanded an additional $2000 in order for me and others to get paid. Apparently my "mistake" was not handled with a warning, but they are holding the wages of 3 other persons who had not made a "mistake". No one gets paid until we all pay $2000 each, which I do not have the resources to make payment. Now it has been over a week and I and others have not been paid our wages since I do not have the extra $2000 demanded. I want to know if anyone else has been involved with this eToro USA / eBay partnership and if eBay even knows that is blackmail is taking place in conjunction with eBays marketing partnership. I am due $8000 in wages from eToro USA / eBay. Darryl. dmiracleman@yahoo.com

Is that the same eToro USA which is a crypto trading platform, with strange rules like on minimum withdrawals?
If your description of what you were doing is accurate, it sounds like you have been scammed.
Perhaps your money went to help pay their settlement with the SEC.

Oh no, I'm sorry to hear this @dmiracleman . It's what's referred to as a "task scam."
When someone tells you that you will be employed and paid to share affiliate links, write reviews, survey products, process orders, add items to your cart to generate interest, or perform other basic digital tasks related to eBay, it is a scam, and they are setting you up to steal from you.
The scammers will earn your trust with fake proof of their system, perhaps even let you withdraw very small payments, then they will tell you that you have to give them money to be able to withdraw more payments. They'll use made up reasons like tax withholdings, account verification, distribution fees and more.
This is called a task scam and it has nothing to do with the real eBay; it's run by scammers that are illegally using eBay's name. These scammers frequently refer to the company as a variation of eBay VIP or eBay Mall.
eBay doesn't pay people to share affiliate links, write reviews, survey products, etc. No legitimate company pays for this type of "work."
If the scammers ask you to sign up for a cryptocurrency account, don't do it. Don't give them any money; you won't get any of it back. More info: https://malwaretips.com/blogs/ebay-job-scam/
