I submitted my application for Buy API production access on May 6 and received the automated message that I’d hear back within 1–2 business days. It’s now been several days, and I’ve received no response — neither an approval nor a denial.
I’m building a compliant and user-friendly Discord-based sports card tool that helps collectors and investors discover active eBay listings. The project uses only public data, surfaces no scraped or cached content, and links users directly to the eBay listings themselves. No pricing manipulation, resale, or data misuse is involved.
What’s been frustrating is the complete lack of any real human contact or support channel — there’s no clear email or phone number, and everything seems locked behind this forum, making the process feel unnecessarily gatekept for compliant developers trying to build value on top of eBay.
Could someone please confirm the status of my application or at least let me know if anything else is required?
